Aster Track Condition Monitoring (ATCM)

This system will analyse and measure up to 6 track sections which maybe miles long. Parameters measured at each point (Receiver) are AC current , DC current and local PSU voltage. The system will detect potential 'wrong side' and 'right side' failures, current or voltage drift and railhead contamination. The unique feature of the Alpha 911 allows for simple two wire RS485 multidrop communications to connect the track sections 911 locations and can stretch over 1.Km with ease. Repeaters can extend this distance to miles. The system can be monitored remotely using VNC. The ALPHA 900 series has full NR approval as does the TCMS. The software can display the data in graphical form showing a trend of the last 20 readings. On the evens of an alarm an SMS can be sent to up to 4 engineers showing the track section, ident and the 3 parameters plus date and time of the alarm event. All the alarm counts and parameters can be be changed on the fly using remote access GSM
