Rail Products - TrackStar

Scadatec's TrackStar is a rail application specific version of Scadatec’s established Procyon software. TrackStar is intended for level crossing and interlocking event recording and analysis and provides local on-site access to recorded data as well as remote operations by multiple users. Features include:

• Communicates with Solartron IMPs, CDSRail Atlas and ACIC Alpha - TrackStar can also communicate via industry standard Modbus and OPC protocols to other data acquisition hardware
• Live data viewer with real-time acquisition, graphical display and logging
• Logging to multiple drives
• Web server for live data viewing via standard web browsers
• Event browser with graphical event replay for viewing recorded digital event data
• SMS texting from/to monitoring sites via GSM modem allowing remote alarm/event/status monitoring using a normal mobile phone
• Logic functions, eg, level crossing performance via event pair timing on mimic displays

Rail Products - TrackStar Panel PC

TrackStar Panel PC is a powerful industrial touch-screen HMI panel suitable for use as a fixed or a mobile local operator interface with CDSRail Atlas event logging systems. It is equipped with pre-installed TrackStar software and Windows XP Embedded operating system on a high speed Compact Flash card. This combination provides the reliability of an operator panel with the flexibility of a Windows based PC software package on a solid state embedded platform. It connects non-invasively to an Atlas system and provides live event viewing through standard displays and track mimics, browsing and graphic event replay of downloaded logged events, diagnostics and event archive to removable usb drives.

The fanless 8.4" SVGA (800 x 600) high brightness panel has a resistive touch screen and a virtual pop-up keyboard. The panel includes RS-232/422/485, LAN and USB ports.

The front panel is IP 64 compliant. The unit is suitable for front cabinet, rack or wall mounting or can be supplied with a desk stand.

The system can also be supplied for operation with other event logging systems or without the touch panel for use on notebook or desktop PCs.

Rail Products - TrackStar PADS

TrackStar PADS (Poor Adhesion Display Sign) provides an upgrade to existing PADS sites enabling monitoring and control via mobile phones and SMS texting. Text messages can then be sent from the phone to request the sign status and to turn the display on and off.

Rail Products - Upgrade Systems

Scadatec can provide upgrade software, consisting of TrackStar modules, together with industrial PC platforms for existing event logging systems, for example Solartron IMP or Alpha 933 based systems.

Add-on Software for Windows Controllers with Solartron IMPs

The add-on software communicates with existing Controller software and consists of TrackStar modules that provide the following features:

Real-time graphic viewer:

• Real-time mimic displays (displays are built with a Graphics Builder)
• Standard displays – digital event and analogue overviews, real-time trends

Web pages (digital event and analogue overviews, real-time trends and alarm summary) viewable locally and remotely via standard browser.

Event browser & graphic event replay – uses the same mimics as the graphic viewer to provide post incident analysis.

SMS Texting – provides remote alarm/event/status monitoring using a normal mobile phone via SMS texting (requires a GSM modem).

Alarm Email – alarms/alerts can be emailed as an alternative to SMS texting.

Auto event log file backup to multiple drives – automatically backs up event files to removable media without interrupting the logging process.

Replacement Controller for DOS Controller with Solartron IMPs

Replacement DOS Controller – with the reducing availability of ISA based CPU cards this replaces both DOS hardware and software whilst maintaining the existing IMPs or Alpha and their wiring. It would include the following features:

• Can be supplied with PAC-42 style industrial PC or small footprint Mini-ITX PC running Windows XP
• For Solartron IMP systems, can use existing IMP PC card (PAC-42) or use the PCI bus version of the IMP Adaptor card (Mini-ITX)
• Uses TrackStar software
• Software is compatible with existing configuration and event logging formats
