Launching a flagship sports venue in time for one of college sports’ most anticipated events - The Final Four - was no small feat for Atlee's Rally. With tight deadlines looming, they needed a display solution that could be installed quickly without compromising quality. The venue also demanded a screen tough enough to withstand the energy of packed, high-spirited crowds - resilient to the occasional bump or knock, yet consistently delivering top-tier performance. On top of it all, management insisted on energy efficiency to ensure long-term cost savings and a solid return on investment.
ATLEE'S RALLY
Atlee’s Rally is a vibrant, thoughtfully crafted sports bar nestled in San Antonio’s St. Paul Square - just steps (about 10 yards!) from the Alamodome entrance - making it a prime destination for The Final Four weekend. This light-filled, 3,000 sq ft venue celebrates local heritage, paying homage to architect Atlee B. Ayres, with design touches like a painted basketball-court ceiling in Spurs-inspired hues and a striking 40-foot bar that echoes football field hash marks.
Solution
To meet the demands of Atlee's Rally, LED Studio delivered a stunning 27-foot video wall powered by their cutting-edge VIVID technology - a chip-on-board (COB) solution engineered specifically for high-traffic environments like sports bars. Built for durability, the COB construction provided exceptional resilience against everyday impacts, making it ideal for the venue’s energetic atmosphere.
The screen delivered breathtaking visuals, with ultra-high brightness and flawless colour uniformity that guaranteed a perfect view from every seat, even in broad daylight. True to Atlee’s commitment to sustainability, the VIVID display also offered impressive energy efficiency, consuming significantly less power than traditional LED systems. And with The Final Four festivities fast approaching, LED Studio fast-tracked the installation, ensuring the massive display was game-ready well before the first tip-off.
