From apprentice to engineer, meet Alex Fletcher!

Embarking on every career journey requires a first step, and for Alex Fletcher, that initial stride was taken as an apprentice at LED Studio.

How his journey started

Joining our ranks amid the challenging backdrop of the Covid-19 pandemic at the age of 19, Alex's trajectory has been nothing short of awe-inspiring. His advancement showcases a remarkable blend of steadfast commitment to personal growth and the delivery of exceptional outcomes. Today, he stands as one of the go-to experts at LED Studio, particularly when intricate technical challenges emerge.

Early life

From an early age, Alex's passion for IT and networking burned brightly, with his first foray into building a gaming PC at the tender age of 13. His initial entry into the world of LED Studio may have been laced with uncertainty, the fusion of his passion with his professional undertakings pleasantly surprised him. His role encompassing the commissioning of LED displays and collaboration with partner Navaho to establish the IT system at our global headquarters felt like second nature to him.

Finding his feet

Beyond his designated duties, Alex's skill set naturally allowed him to lend his expertise to Kyal, our creative lead, he has masterfully orchestrated the seamless operation of content playback. Consequently, Alex has assumed responsibility for running the LED Studio showroom, ensuring that displays dazzle visitors with relevant and sometimes personalised content upon their arrival at our global headquarters.

Aspirations

With his sights set on the horizon, Alex eagerly anticipates commencing his CTS course in 2024, a move that will further refine his prowess within the AV industry. Alongside this professional pursuit, he nurtures a budding interest in mastering the guitar. Our excitement brims as we imagine him leading the charge, serenading us with campfire melodies during our annual LED Studio summer festival.
